Terms of Service
Last Updated: 23 September 2025
Welcome to InHouse Health&Fitness (“the Platform”), operated by InHouse Health&Fitness, registered in Ireland. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
- Service Overview
InHouse Health&Fitness is an online marketplace that connects qualified and insured fitness professionals (“Trainers”) with customers (“Clients”) who wish to book at-home fitness sessions. The Platform facilitates discovery, booking, and payments but does not directly provide training services.
- User Accounts
Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Trainers must provide accurate qualifications, certifications, and insurance documents. The Platform reserves the right to verify, approve, or reject Trainers.
Clients must provide accurate personal information to complete bookings.
Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure.
- Subscriptions & Fees
Trainers may pay a monthly subscription fee to appear on the Platform.
Fees are processed through Stripe Connect. By using the Platform, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service.
- Bookings & Payments
All payments must be processed via the Platform. Direct off-platform payments are prohibited.
Clients agree to pay the fee displayed at the time of booking.
Trainers receive payouts after the session is completed, less commission and applicable fees.
Cancellations and refunds are subject to the cancellation policy outlined on the booking page.
- Trainer Responsibilities
Trainers operate as independent professionals. They are not employees, agents, or independent contractors of InHouse Health&Fitness, and InHouse does not direct or control how they provide their services.
Trainers are solely responsible for maintaining valid insurance, current certifications, and any licenses or permits required to legally provide their services.
Trainers must ensure they have the legal right to work and provide services in their jurisdiction.
Trainers are fully and exclusively responsible for the safety, conduct, and quality of their sessions, including compliance with all applicable health and safety standards.
Qualifications & Compliance
Trainers must provide valid and up-to-date certifications (including, but not limited to, professional qualifications and insurance documents) as part of the verification process before being listed on the platform.
It is the sole responsibility of the trainer to ensure that all certifications remain current. In the event that a certification, license, or insurance policy expires, the trainer must immediately update their records and provide proof of renewal. Failure to do so may result in suspension or removal from the platform until compliance is restored.
If a trainer obtains additional qualifications or certifications after their initial verification, they must upload these credentials to the platform and obtain approval from InHouse Health&Fitness before advertising or delivering any new services related to those qualifications.
InHouse Health&Fitness reserves the right to verify, approve, or reject any certification or qualification at its sole discretion.
- Client Responsibilities
Clients must ensure they have a safe environment suitable for training.
Clients agree to disclose any relevant medical conditions to the Trainer.
Clients use the services at their own risk.
- Platform Role & Liability
The Platform is a facilitator only. We are not liable for the actions, omissions, or services of Trainers or Clients.
We do not guarantee specific results, availability, or safety beyond verification of provided documents.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, InHouse Health&Fitness disclaims liability for injuries, damages, or disputes arising from sessions.
- Reviews & Content
Clients may leave reviews after sessions. Reviews must be fair, truthful, and non-defamatory.
The Platform may remove content that violates these terms.
- Disputes & Refunds
Clients should first attempt to resolve issues directly with the Trainer.
If unresolved, disputes may be escalated to Platform support for review.
The Platform reserves the right to issue refunds or withhold payments at its discretion.
- Termination
We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or harms the reputation or safety of the Platform.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Irish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ireland.
- Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
